Hello Families

Tomorrow is a non-instructional day, so there is no school for the children.

This week we have continued to learn about data in math, exploring information on line graphs, Venn diagrams and pie charts. In literacy we have considered the interdependency of humans and animals through writing, producing posters for endangered animals and telling our own family story.  We are learning about Wetlands in science and have drawn different examples in art.  In social studies we discussed what it means to be a Canadian, and in health we have been discussing relationships.

Please make sure children have suitable shoes for gym, as we do this every day.  As it is getting colder in the mornings and with the changeable weather, students may need to have a sweater or coat with them.
