Hello Families,

There is no school tomorrow for the students. School resumes on Monday September 28th.

This week we have been learning about apostrophes and how to use them when writing. We have also started designing posters about Gorillas.

We are reading every day and appreciate you supporting your child with reading at home.

In math we learned about pie charts and line plots. We also started to learn about probability.

In science we had an on-line visitor talking about wetlands, and learned how animal adaptations help them live in this environment.

In social studies we continued to learn about Canada and the countries that are around us.

In health we were discussing responsible decision-making, and how this is important in all areas of our lives.

In art we are drawing wetland animals.

In gym we are continuing to develop skills in soccer.

Next week we will be learning about marking Orange Shirt Day and taking part in a Terry Fox run.

Please remember to call the school if your child is going to be absent for any reason.

An on-line Open House will take place on October 8th.

If you have ay questions please email me and I will be happy to respond.

Have a wonderful first weekend of autumn.
